I was born in Russia and came to the United States in 1993, at ten years old. Five years ago my wife and I moved our family to Florida and chose North Port — not as a stop along the way, but as home.
This is where our five children are growing up. This is where I work with people every day — helping families and new residents find more than a house, but a place they can truly call their own.
I believe North Port should grow responsibly — with care for families, safety for residents, support for small businesses, respect for hard work, and attention to the voices of the people who call this city home.
The years I spent in Washington State showed me how decisions made by local government can change a city and distance it from the real needs of everyday families. I don’t want those mistakes repeated here.
I am running for City Commission to help protect the future of our city — a future where my children, and the children of other families, can grow up in a safe, free, and strong community.
These are the issues North Port residents raise most often — and the ones where I bring practical experience, not just an opinion.
Development is what residents bring up most, and people are not happy with how it’s going. Eighteen years in construction gave me a practical understanding of how homes, neighborhoods, and infrastructure should develop. North Port deserves quality planning and a long-term vision — not growth for its own sake.
As a husband and father of five, the future of North Port is deeply personal to me. This city should remain a safe, family-focused place — for my children and for the generations after them. Public safety isn’t an abstract budget line; it’s the condition families weigh when they decide to stay.
I run a small business myself, so I know how city decisions land on the people who create local jobs. Local government should support small business and respect hard work — not make life harder for the people investing in this city.
Younger families need a voice on the City Commission. I believe both representation and the communication between city hall and residents can be considerably better. As Vice President of my own community, that is exactly the work I do — organization, talking with residents, and decisions that directly affect their quality of life.

Over eighteen years in the construction industry — a practical understanding of how neighborhoods, homes, and infrastructure develop, and what quality planning actually costs. It’s the experience most often missing from North Port’s conversation about development.
In my own community I serve as Vice President — administration, organization, communication with residents, and the practical decisions that directly affect people’s quality of life.
